Terms of Service

By using ACE PDFMD (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The service

ACE PDFMD provides free and paid ("Pro") online tools for working with PDF, image, and Markdown files. Some tools run entirely in your browser; others upload your file to our servers for processing and delete it immediately afterward (see our Privacy Policy for details).

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Upload, process, or generate any content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, or that you do not have the right to possess or distribute;
• Upload malware, exploit code, or files designed to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or any other system;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, circumvent, or otherwise bypass the Site's rate limits, usage quotas, or ad-gating mechanisms, including by automating requests, spoofing identity/session tokens, forging tier claims, or using bots/scripts to exceed the limits described in Section 4;
• Resell, sublicense, or use the Site's processing capacity as a component of another commercial service without our written permission;
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Site's infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account or IP address found violating these terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account or use the Site; the Site is not directed at children.

4. Usage limits (quotas)

To keep the Site sustainable, usage is limited by tier:

• Anonymous (not signed in): 10 tasks/downloads per day, 1 file per request, 10MB per request, 50MB total uploads per day.
• Free (signed in): Unlimited tasks/downloads per day, 2 files per request, 20MB per request, 200MB total uploads per day.
• Pro: unlimited tasks, files per request, and upload size.

These limits are enforced server-side and tracked by IP address and/or account, and may be adjusted at any time to keep the Site sustainable. When a limit is reached, the Site will tell you the reason, the threshold, and offer the appropriate next step (sign up, upgrade to Pro, or come back tomorrow).

5. Pro subscriptions and payment

Pro subscriptions are billed by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record) at $2.99/month or $24.99/year. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for billing terms, including that payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that conversions will be perfect, that the Site will be available at all times, or that results are fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACE PDFMD and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including loss of data or files.

8. Copyright / DMCA

You represent that you own, or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, process, and distribute, any file you submit to the Site. You must not use the Site to infringe anyone else's copyright or other intellectual property rights. If you believe material processed, stored, or displayed through the Site infringes your copyright, see the Copyright / DMCA section of our Privacy Policy for how to send a notice.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
